How We Packaging the Table
Different products have different packing way, especially for such large items, whether in shipping or land transport, great care is necessary, so what kind of packaging can ensure that the resin table is intact as much as possible when it reaches you? This blog will show you our packaging methods.
Step 1
Finished Products CONFIRMING
Before packaging, we will have a necessary prerequisite, which is to get your review of the final product.
We will complete the final product according to your customization requirements at the factory, and then send you a clear video and photos of the details for the product as attachments via email for your inspection.
We proceed to the next step of packaging and transportation only after you confirm that there are no problem and you’re satisfied.
Step 2
Protective Film COVERING
In order to prevent scratches or contamination on the tabletop during transportation, a protective film is usually applied on the epoxy resin tabletop, which effectively cut off external damage to the tabletop and ensures the integrity of the table during transportation.
We use furniture-specific protective film, and when applying the film, we have professional craftsmen to complete it to prevent air bubbles from forming. When you receive the product, you can easily remove this layer of protective film.
Step 3
Foam Pads or Bubble Wrap PACKING
At the edges and corners of the table, foam pads or bubble wrap are carefully used to further prevent damage caused by collisions during transportation or handling.
These foam pads and bubble wrap have excellent cushioning properties, effectively absorbing energy when subjected to external impacts, thus to protect the table's edges and corners from bumps and scratches.
By meticulously wrapping, every vulnerable part of the table is fully protected.
Step 4
External Box INSTALLING
Finally, all these protective measures will be housed in a sturdy plywood outer box to ensure that they are not damaged during transportation.
The box be sealed with high-strength tape or locks at the closure to ensure a tight seal, then attaching the label and marking the orientation .
At the same time, foam blocks, bubble wrap scraps, and materials will be used to fill the empty spaces inside the box to prevent damage from movement during transport.
Step 5
Additional Table Leg Protecting
Except the protection of the desktop, we will also add extra protective packaging for the table legs.
The table legs are packaged separately. The packaging steps are almost the same as those for the desktop, with the only difference being that the table legs need to be wrapped in soft cloth not just bubble pads which can provide cushioning and reduce resistance when collisions occur.
